Darting ace Aspinall ready to hit bullseye in Bristol
November 18th, 2022Darts fans in Bristol will have the chance to test their talents against one of the world’s leading players at a special event at our Bristol Bishopsworth branch next week.
Former UK Open champion Nathan Aspinall will be taking to the oche between 2pm and 4pm on Thursday, November 24, at the branch on Cater Road (BS13 7UH).
Members of the public are invited to come along to the branch to take on ‘The Asp’ in special nine-dart challenges for the chance to win spot prizes including tickets to PDC events.
Aspinall, who has finished runner-up in the Premier League and twice reached the semi-finals of the World Darts Championship, will be using the appearance as preparation for the Players Championship Finals in Minehead which start 24 hours later.
The 31-year-old from Stockport said: “I’m looking forward to appearing at Selco and not only meeting fans but playing nine-dart challenges against them.
“It’s always an enjoyable part of the job and this fits in perfectly as an ideal warm-up ahead of a big weekend in Minehead at the Players Championship Finals.
“My form feels good heading into a very important part of the darting calendar so hopefully I can have a big finish to 2022.”
