With three tiers - Bronze, Silver and Gold - your rewards and discounts grow as your monthly spend increases. Any discounts are automatically applied to your account.

How upgrades work: quick to upgrade, easy to maintain

Hit the minimum spend for a tier and you’ll be moved up automatically. This usually happens overnight, and always within five days.

Once you’re in a tier, you’ll keep your discount for up to three months (the rest of the current month, plus the next two months). After that, we’ll review your spending again and confirm your tier going forward.

Example: Spend £300 by the 10th of the month and you’ll automatically move up to tradeREWARDS Silver. You’ll then keep your 6% Silver discount for the rest of that month and for the next two months.

Getting your tradeREWARDS discount

When does my discount start?

Your discount will be automatically applied to your account when you qualify for Silver or Gold tier. We’ll usually apply it overnight; always within five days.

Your new discount will stay on your account and apply to all purchases* for the rest of that month and the following two months.

Will I be notified about changes to my tier?

Yes - We’ll always email you when your tier changes. Please remember to opt in to emails and make sure we have an up-to-date email address to contact you. To check the status of your tradeREWARDS account, head to the 'Your Account' section on our website and click the 'tradeREWARDS' tab. If you have any other questions, speak to a member of the team in store - they'll be happy to help.

Keeping your discount

How do I keep my tradeREWARDS discount?

Simply maintain the minimum spend for the tier during your three-month discount period:

• Silver: Average of £300 per month or £900 over three months
• Gold: Average of £1,500 per month or £4,500 over three months

At the end of the discount period, we’ll check your average spend and automatically maintain or adjust your tier.

What if I don't spend enough?

If your spend drops below the minimum amount for your tier, you’ll be demoted to the tier that matches your average spend.

If you reach the qualifying spend again in the future, you’ll be promoted automatically.

Moving between tiers

What if I'm on tradeREWARDS Silver, but spend enough for tradeREWARDS Gold?

Once you reach the minimum spend for tradeREWARDS Gold, we’ll automatically promote you to your new tier - usually overnight; always within five days.

Your new discount period will start from that promotion date.

We’ll always email you when your tier changes.

Spend requirements

Are the minimum spend requirements inc VAT or ex VAT?

All qualifying spend is inc VAT.

Do I have to meet the minimum spend all in one go?

No - you can spend the qualifying amount in one purchase, or you can spend it over multiple transactions throughout the month.

Using your discount

Will my discount work with promotions?

We'll make sure you always get the best deal with us. We'll automatically apply the better offer – your tradeREWARDS discount or the promotional offer.

Can I use my tradeREWARDS discount online?

Yes - your tradeREWARDS benefits and discounts will be applied automatically when you make purchases using your Selco account online, in store or over the phone. If you're ordering online, you'll see your tradeREWARDS discount applied to your basket total before checkout.

To check the status of your tradeREWARDS account, head to the 'Your Account' section on our website and click the 'tradeREWARDS' tab.

Terms & Conditions

1. Your participation in the tradeREWARDS loyalty program is solely at the discretion of Selco Builders Warehouse. We reserve the right to change tier thresholds or discount rates without notice.
2. We may amend or withdraw the tradeREWARDS programme at any time.
3. tradeREWARDS discounts cannot be combined with other promotional discounts unless otherwise stated. The best available price will always be applied.
4. *Exclusions will apply to select sale or clearance items, as well as non-stocked items (including those sent direct to site).
5. Discounts apply only when purchases are made using the relevant registered Selco account.
6. Misuse of the programme or breach of our terms may result in removal from tradeREWARDS.
