Introducing Trade Rewards, our new loyalty programme designed to reward your business
We're inviting a select group of customers to take part in the pilot launch of Trade Rewards, our new loyalty programme created to give you regular, consistent discounts every time you shop with us*.
This initial pilot is expected to run for three months. Thanks for helping us shape a loyalty programme that delivers real value for every member!
The programme has three tiers— Bronze, Silver and Gold — each offering great rewards that grow with your monthly spend.
This is the starting tier for all loyalty members and will be introduced to the scheme following the pilot launch. Bronze members will receive personalised offers and tailored deals based on the products you buy from us most often.
Spend £300 in one calendar month (inc. VAT) and enjoy 6% off all your purchases - in store, online and over the phone - for the remainder of that month and the following two months.
Save even more when you spend £1,500 in one calendar month (inc. VAT) and enjoy 10% off all your purchases - in store, online and over the phone - for the remainder of that month and the following two months.
How upgrades work: quick to upgrade, easy to keep
As soon as your monthly spend reaches the qualifying amount for a tier, you’ll be automatically upgraded. This usually happens overnight, and always within five days.
Once you move into a tier, your discount stays in place for up to three months (the rest of the current month plus the next two months). Your spend during this period will then be reviewed to confirm your tier going forward.
Example: If you hit £300 spend on the 10th of a month, you’ll be upgraded to Trade Rewards Silver - usually overnight; always within five days. You’ll then keep your Silver discount for the rest of that month and the following two months.

Getting your Trade Rewards discount
When does my discount start?
Your discount activates automatically when you qualify for Silver or Gold. We’ll usually apply it overnight; always within five days.
Your new discount will stay on your account and apply to all purchases for the rest of that month and the following two months.
Will I be notified about changes to my level?
Yes - We’ll always email you when your tier changes and send you a monthly update showing your spend-to-date. Please ensure we have an up-to-date email address to contact you.
Keeping your discount
How do I keep my Trade Rewards discount?
Simply maintain the required level of spend during your three-month discount period:
- Silver: Average £300 per month or £900 over three months
- Gold: Average £1,500 per month or £4,500 over three months
At the end of the discount period, we’ll check your average spend and automatically maintain or adjust your tier.
What if I don't spend enough?
If your spend drops below the requirement for your tier, you’ll be demoted to the tier that matches your average spend.
If you reach the qualifying spend again in the future, you’ll be promoted automatically.
Moving between tiers
What if I'm on Trade Rewards Silver, but spend enough for Trade Rewards Gold?
Once you reach the Gold qualifying spend, we’ll promote you to your new tier - usually overnight; always within five days.
Your new discount period starts from that promotion date.
We’ll always email you when your tier changes and send you a monthly update showing your spend-to-date.
Spend requirements
Are the spend requirements inc VAT or ex VAT?
All qualifying spend is inc. VAT.
Do I have to meet the minimum spend requirement all in one go?
No - you can spend the qualifying amount in one purchase, or you can spend it over multiple transactions throughout the month.
Using your discount
Will my discount work with promotions?
We'll make sure you always receive the best offer from us. Whichever is the better deal - be it the promotional offer or your Trade Rewards discount - will automatically be applied.
Can I use my Trade Rewards discount online?
Yes - your Trade Rewards benefits and discounts will be applied automatically when you make purchases using your Selco account online, in store or over the phone. If you're ordering online, you'll see your Trade Rewards discount applied to your basket total before checkout.
Checking your spend
How do I check my spend and current tier?
We’ll email you each month with a summary of your spend, your current tier, and your discount period.
Alternatively, you can pop into your local Selco, where the team will be happy to help.
Terms & Conditions
- Your participation in the Trade Rewards loyalty program is solely at the discretion of Selco Builders Warehouse. We reserve the right to change tier thresholds or discount rates without notice.
- We may amend or withdraw the Trade Rewards programme at any time.
- Trade Rewards discounts cannot be combined with other promotional discounts unless otherwise stated. The best available price will always be applied.
- *Exclusions will apply to select sale or clearance items, as well as non-stocked items (including those sent direct to site).
- Discounts apply only when purchases are made using the relevant registered Selco account.
- Misuse of the programme or breach of our terms may result in removal from Trade Rewards.
