Our range of garden fencing supplies

Find the right fencing for any residential or commercial project with our range of fencing supplies and accessories. We stock top trusted brands such as Tafs, BSW, Supreme Concrete and Strongcast, helping you deliver a solid, high-quality result that lasts. From individual fencing components to complete panels, you'll find the materials you need for the job.

Garden fence panels

We have a wide selection of garden fencing panels for you to choose from, no matter your customer's budget or preference.

Choose from closeboard (also known as feather edge) fence panels, or lap fence panels depending on the desired look. Our wooden garden fence panels, as well as gates and fence boards, are all FSC® or PEFC™-certified, meaning they are sustainably sourced from responsibly managed forests.

We also stock garden trellis that works well as a decorative fence topper or standalone screening to add extra privacy to any outdoor space.

Fence posts and post spikes

When installing new fencing, you'll need the right fence posts to ensure the structure is secure and stable. We stock both timber and concrete fence posts to help you create a durable perimeter for your customer's home. Timber fence posts offer a traditional look that blends with the panels, while concrete fence posts provide maximum durability and a longer lifespan.

We also have a selection of fence post spikes, shoes and other post supports that will keep your fencing panels and posts extra stable across different ground conditions. To complete the job, pick up other essentials like fence post caps and post cement.

Fence gravel boards

We stock timber and concrete gravel boards to create a durable barrier between the fence panel and the damp ground. Using a gravel board lifts the timber away from surface water, protecting the panels against water damage and rot. For a low-maintenance finish, concrete gravel boards offer better durability than timber, but timber gravel boards blend more seamlessly with wooden panels.

Fencing wire

If you need to protect animals or plants, we have a range of wire fencing and chicken wire available in both rolls and panels. Our wire mesh can be used for fencing, cages and aviaries, as well as crop protection and plant support. We also stock barbed wire and accessories like netting stakes to complete your project.

FAQs

Lap fence panels, often called overlap or waney lap, are constructed from horizontal boards that overlap each other on a lighter frame, making them a great budget-friendly option. Closeboard (feather edge) panels feature vertical overlapping boards that sit more tightly together and are usually thicker and more robust, providing better security, durability and wind resistance.

The choice you make depends on the project's budget and how long you'd like it to last. Timber fence posts are easier to handle on-site and provide a seamless, natural look when paired with wooden panels, but concrete fence posts are the superior choice for durability. They won't rot, warp or split over time, making them a low-maintenance and long-lasting solution. If your customer is in a particularly windy area, concrete posts offer significantly more structural weight and stability.

In the UK, the standard width for most fence panels, including overlap and closeboard styles, is 1830mm (6'). We do stock a few alternative widths, such as the Sussex Wave Fence Panel, which is slightly narrower at 1800mm x 1800mm. There are also a variety of heights available, ranging from 900mm (3') for low boundaries up to 1830mm (6') for maximum privacy. If you are replacing a single panel in an existing run, remember to measure the gap between the posts first to ensure a snug fit.
