Made from double laminated tear- and stretch-resistant polyethylene, it is weatherproof, waterproof, rot proof and mould resistant, which also makes it suitable for use as a groundsheet for camping. To keep the tarpaulin safely lashed down against the worst weather there are reinforced aluminium eyelets every metre for secure fastening with strong rope or twine.
