The Makita DGA452Z 115mm Angle Grinder is a compact, lightweight cordless grinder built for professional cutting and grinding work on site. Powered by Makita 18V Li-ion LXT slide batteries (battery not included), the 4-pole motor delivers up to 10000 RPM for fast material removal and efficient performance. Specially designed for control and comfort, this Makita angle grinder features an ergonomic, easy-grip body, a slide switch with lock-on for continuous use and a spindle lock for quick disc changes. The side handle can be fitted to either side of the tool, while the rotatable gear housing helps you set the tool up for the job at hand. Spiral bevel gears deliver smoother operation, and the wheel cover improves safety when grinding or cutting. Built-in protection features include an anti-restart function to help prevent accidental start-up, plus an electronic current limiter to protect the motor from overload and overheating. It can also be connected to dust extraction with an optional dust collecting wheel cover (sold separately).
