ProDec General Purpose Masking Tape is made from high-quality crepe paper and designed for quick and convenient masking during painting and decorating work. The easy-tear design makes it simple to cover both long and short runs across a range of surfaces.
The standard adhesion grade is suitable for bare and previously painted surfaces where the paint has fully cured for more than 28 days. The tape applies evenly and removes smoothly when peeled, leaving no residue. Suitable for walls, wood surfaces such as skirting boards, architraves and window sills, as well as metal, glass, mouldings, switches and sockets.
For best results, apply with even but not excessive pressure and remove before the paint dries, and within 24 hours of application. Always test a small, unobtrusive area first to check compatibility. For delicate or newly painted surfaces, use low-tack masking tape to help avoid surface damage. Painted or highly patterned wallpaper may not be suitable for masking tape.
