Zinsser Gardz is a water-based sealer for sealing and binding porous, chalky and crumbling surfaces, as well as paints and textured finishes. It dries to a rock hard, clear, water-resistant finish and is ideal for use on damaged or new drywall, spackling and joint compound skim coats, plaster, calcimine, wallcovering adhesive residue, uncoated wallpaper and textured paint.
