More information about Cladding
Timber Cladding is a stylish and practical way to finish walls. Each piece of timber cladding comes with a tongue and groove design fitted either vertically or horizontally to create an outer layer of a façade.
Softwood cladding comes from coniferous trees – most commonly pine. We also stock Hardwood Cladding which comes from broadleaf trees – most commonly oak and teak.
As it can be exposed to the elements and potential damage, any exterior cladding must have suitable natural durability (Class 1, 2 or 3 BS EN 350-2). Softwood cladding is ideal due to its light weight, which makes it easy to move and use.
Above you’ll find a wide range of timber cladding in sizes to suit a range of projects. We also stock shiplap cladding; this type of cladding has a different shape to other types of cladding, featuring a profile that allows water to run off. This makes shiplap the ideal external cladding to use for outdoor garden outbuildings.
We stock treated timber cladding but mostly untreated, which should be protected with suitable Woodcare Treatment if used externally.
