What is guttering and what is it used for?
Guttering is a system of pipes and connectors that help to collect rainwater and steer it away from the building’s roof. A gutter is a necessity for residential, industrial and commercial buildings as it prevents water from building up and pooling in certain areas, and therefore reduces the chance of water damage and erosion to walls, roofs and the overall structure and foundation of a property. It can also prevent excess run-off and flooding of the landscaping surrounding the building.
Gutter pipes are created from durable yet lightweight PVC, which is a plastic material highly resistant to corrosion, rust, rot and general wear and tear, making it ideal for use outside. Guttering systems usually contain a variety of pipe lengths with guttering corners, angles and connectors to join them together, brackets to secure the gutters to the building, and stop ends and outlets to control the flow and drainage of water.

Half round guttering
Round guttering and half round guttering are classic guttering designs with a curved circular or semi-circular shape. Half round gutters are the most popular choice for roof gutter projects as they work well with most roof types, and their timeless half-cut design effectively directs water flow for efficient drainage.
Square guttering
Our selection of square guttering is perfectly suited to homes and buildings with a more contemporary design. Square gutters have a modern, angular design with a square profile and can carry slightly higher amounts of water too.
Mini guttering
If you’re looking for shed guttering or need gutters for a smaller structure than a home such as a garage, greenhouse or conservatory, we’ve got a range of mini guttering too. Mini guttering is smaller and narrower than traditional gutters and is very easy to install.
