TV stars kick off family fun at Bradford branch

Local TV stars Rashid Mahmood  Khan and Damon Scully from the recent Channel 4 documentary series and social experiment, ‘Make Bradford British’ joined the team at The Family Fun Day at the Bradford Branch which was organised to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The event took place on Saturday 16th June. Activities included  football, basketball, rugby and a grand prize draw which included the chance to win tickets to premiership football games, cricket test matches and the chance to win Bradford  Bulls super league match tickets and a range of signed Bradford Bulls merchandise. Chris Roach, Branch Manager, said: “We are really keen to get more involved in the local community and this event allowed us to do that as well as raising almost £1,000 for Macmillan. We even had a £40 donation from the Ice Cream man!”.
