SELCO STICKING WITH WHITE AND RED

July 10th, 2018

The traditional blue and yellow colours of Selco Builders Warehouse will remain on the substitute’s bench while England’s hopes in Russia stay alive.

We took the unprecedented step of swapping our brand colours to white and red ahead of the weekend to avoid a clash with quarter-final opponents Sweden, and to throw our support behind Gareth Southgate’s squad.

Goals from Harry Maguire and Dele Alli sealed a 2-0 win on Saturday and the nation is now on tenterhooks ahead of the semi-final against Croatia.

Determined to fly the flag for England, Selco – which has 65 branches across the UK – will stay white and red until England’s adventure comes to an end.

Howard Luft, Selco chief executive, said: “The switch in logo colours worked on Saturday so we are sticking with it in the hope that it brings the boys good luck.

“The change to the white and red went down very well with our customers and staff and it will remain on our website pages and social media channels until, hopefully, football comes home.”
